Who is your team

You will be part of the R&D team who is in charge of the development, deployment and maintenance of the Certego service portal. Your activities will consist of:

• Collaborating with other members of your group in the development of the components for Certego service portal
• Design and maintain the architecture of Certego service portal backend
• Actively participating in the design process of new features and integrations with other Certego applications or with third party solutions

What we expect from you

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Sciences; alternatively, at least two years of specific experience developing web applications.
• Ability to manage and organize your work independently.
• Predisposition to team work.
• Attitude to learning and constant desire to develop new skills.

The following technical skills will constitute a plus::

• Experience with:
  • Python (Django, Celery)
  • Git
  • Docker
  • PostgreSQL
  • ElasticSearch
  • Redis/Valkey
• Experience in web application development
• Knowledge of REST
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Quality Assurance (QA).

Remuneration range: 25.000 – 30.000€ and/or commensurate with your skills and potential.

The workplace is Via F. Lamborghini 81, Modena, MO (Italy); we are available to evaluate forms of smart working. Working hours are in the Central European Time Zone but we are open to different solutions.

Who is your Team

You will join the Infrastructure and IT Services Area, which manages the development and maintenance of the IT services used by Certego, in the role of Junior Infrastructure Engineer. Your activities will include:

• Administering cloud (AWS) and on-premise infrastructures, with the goal of ensuring stability and security.
• System monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Providing technical support to colleagues, contributing to the resolution of requests and incidents.
• Collaborating with the Delivery team in the activation and configuration of services.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the infrastructure through proposals and optimizations.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a candidate with the following characteristics:

• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems, Linux shell, system services management (systemd, networking, logging), and CLI tools.
• Troubleshooting skills at the operating system and network levels.
• Basic knowledge of physical server management, such as: RAID configuration, hardware diagnostics, and Out-of-band remote management interfaces (IPMI).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactivity in suggesting improvements.
• A problem-solving mindset.
