Who is your team

You will be part of the Threat Intelligence R&D Team, specifically focused on the Banking & Fraud sector. Our goal is to proactively identify, track, and mitigate financial threats to protect our customers' assets. You will work to turn raw data from the deep and clear web into actionable intelligence that stops fraud before it occurs.

Your activities will consist of:

• Monitoring Financial Threats: Tracking threat actors specializing in the Italian banking landscape and retrieving indicators of fraud.
• Platform Collaboration: Working with R&D developers to improve the platform.
• Support Operations: Assisting in Incident Response when financial institutions are targeted.

Depending on your technical skill set and seniority, the following activities may be added:

• Deep Malware Analysis: Reverse engineering banking-specific malware (e.g., malicious APKs/RATs).

What we expect from you

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics/Finance with a technical focus; alternatively, equivalent field experience.

• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Italian (C1 level) is a must.

• Mindset: A proactive attitude toward threat hunting and a strong desire to stay ahead of financial criminals.

The following technical skills are a plus:

• Banking Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with digital banking processes, online payment systems, and common financial fraud mechanisms.

• Tooling: Experience with disassemblers (IDA Pro, Ghidra) or OSINT tools focused on the Dark Web.

• Tech Stack: Python & Django, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Linux.

Who is your team

You will be part of our Threat Detection Team, who is in charge of the development, deployment and management of all components of the PanOptikon SOAR Platform used to detect attacks and orchestrate and automate response actions.

You will:

• Collaborate with the Team Leader, the Project Manager and other components of the Threat Detection Team for the development of all software components in our Threat Detection Platform: research and development of new methodologies, improvement of the existing ones.
• Develop and maintain all connectors with third party technologies, both in the cloud and on-premises (e.g. integration modules with Amazon AWS, Microsoft 365, EDR and XDR platforms, etc).
• Take part in the design and development of new functionalities and new modules, in collaboration with our Threat Intelligence and Threat Research teams.
• Collaborate to the design and management of the software release and continuous development processes: you will keep stable and secure the system rolling out new software releases on our 150+ appliances.

What we expect from you

• At least two years of experience in one of the following fields:
  • Software Development, especially if related to Cyber Security.
  • Security Operations Center or Incident Response Team.
  • Use of EDR technologies.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Sciences; alternatively, specific experience in the fields above, to be evaluated during the interviews.
• Knowledge of spoken and written English (level B1 written, A2 spoken)
• Basic knowledge of spoken and written Italian (not mandatory)
• Relational and communicative skills
• Ability to manage and organize your work independently

The following technical skills will constitute a plus:

• Knowledge of Cloud SaaS and IaaS environments and their peculiarities, also in terms of security.

You will be part of the R&D team who is in charge of the development, deployment and maintenance of the Certego service portal. Your activities will consist of:

• Collaborating with other members of your group in the development of the components for Certego service portal
• Design and maintain the architecture of Certego service portal backend
• Actively participating in the design process of new features and integrations with other Certego applications or with third party solutions

What we expect from you

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Sciences; alternatively, at least two years of specific experience developing web applications.
• At least two years of experience in back-end or full-stack development.

You will be part of the R&D team who is in charge of the development, deployment and maintenance of the frontend part of Certego’s projects. Your activities will consist of:

• Collaborating with other members of your group in the development of in-browser components for Certego products and projects
• Developing and maintaining graphical components on which UI/UX is based
• Actively participating in the design process of new features along with other teams (Threat Intelligence Team and Threat Detection Team)
• Collaborating in the management and design of the corporate website

What we expect from you

Who is your team

You will be part of the Threat Intelligence R&D Team, who strives every day to keep Certego ahead from the threat actors with the generation of actionable information for our analysts and our customers.

Your activities will consist of:

• Following the threat landscape by monitoring threat actors with our technologies and tools;
• Writing internal reports about malware campaigns to aid the Incident Response Team in detecting and responding to the threats;
• Working closely to the Threat Intelligence Developers team to improve the components of the Threat Intelligence Platform and all other related projects (honeypots, sandboxes, analyzers, etc.);
• Researching smart and efficient ways to automate the generation of valuable and actionable threat intelligence information;
• Participating in Incident Response Activities.

Depending on your technical skill set and seniority, the following activities will be added:

• Performing advanced malware analysis and reverse engineering;
• Writing new detection logic, and maintain already existing one, for the malware sandboxes and the reputation services;
• Writing public articles in the blog;
• Participating in public presentations.

What we expect from you

• At least 1 year of experience in Malware Analysis or Threat Intelligence.
  • We will also take into consideration profiles with no experience in those subjects but with a strong and proven motivation.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Sciences; alternatively, specific experience in the fields above, to be evaluated during the interviews.
• Knowledge of spoken and written English (level B2 written, B2 spoken).

Sarai inserito nell’Area Security Operations che si occupa della gestione dei servizi di cybersecurity che Certego eroga ai propri Clienti, con il ruolo di Customer Service Specialist. Le tue attività prevederanno:

• Supportare e formare i Clienti sull’utilizzo del servizio, offrendo loro consigli personalizzati basati su esigenze specifiche;
• Identificare e costruire KPI e metriche che permettano di analizzare e migliorare l'andamento del servizio;
• Formalizzare e condurre processi di assessment per identificare aree di miglioramento nell'infrastruttura e nei processi di cybersecurity dei Clienti;
• Raccogliere feedback dai clienti per proporre miglioramenti mirati all'ottimizzazione del servizio;
• Redigere e presentare service review.
